"We write in response to the Consultation Paper released in November 2006 as part of the government’s review of what is now described as 'Canada’s Access to Medicines Regime' (CAMR), the legislative scheme under the Patent Act and the Food and Drugs Act to enable compulsory licensing of patented pharmaceuticals for the purpose of exporting less expensive products to eligible developing countries to address public health problems. . . ."
